I saw a post. “Start your own blog in 5 easy steps!” It seemed straight forward enough. I was in need of a hobby to help me beat my head against the wall, so I did it. Here I am with my first post to my blog. My platform to share my crazy thoughts and antics with you fine people. I of course had to think about what I can consistently write about. The first thing that comes to my mind, is my brain….or the lack-thereof. This is where the jellyfish comes in. They don’t have brains. Nope, no real neurological system at all. That’s how I feel at times. That all happened after I was diagnosed with M.S. in March 2011. The doctor was so very kind to call me at work and tell me “you have multiple sclerosis”. To which I reply, “what is that?”. I had heard of it but knew no details about it at the time. He responded very calmly, “you’ll end up in a wheelchair”. WTF! Who does he think he is?! I was young, only 33 years old. Newlywed 2 years prior. What the heck does he mean I’ll end up in a wheelchair?!?!
